Additionally, the unemployment rate for STEM workers was consistently lower than that of non-STEM workers, emphasizing the resilience and stability of STEM-related careers in the job market.

Moreover, fostering diversity and inclusion in STEM fields is crucial for driving innovation and addressing global challenges. However, disparities persist, particularly in terms of gender representation. According to UNESCO, only around 35% of STEM students globally are female, highlighting the need for concerted efforts to encourage more girls and women to pursue STEM education and careers.
